Use the Power of Storytelling to Expand What’s Possible

Awaken yourself, inspire others, and build authentic communities with Transformation Storytelling™.

Chaya has taught Transformation Storytelling to over 250,000 people across six continents.

Chaya (they/them) embraces storytelling as a pathway for personal and collective healing.

A defining moment in 2008 led Chaya to center storytelling in their work, ranging from teaching, to coaching, to community building. They have shared their insights on notable blogs and podcasts — including Arlan Hamilton’s Demystifying Faith — and told their stories live on stage at the Barrow Street Theater and The Moth in NYC.

They have also developed storytelling software and taught neuroscience-based storytelling to over a quarter million people across six continents. They coach business, education and tech leaders on how storytelling can enhance their influence.

“Everyone can use Chaya’s framework to tell their stories more authentically.”

–Arlan Hamilton, founder of Backstage Capital; author of It’s About Damn Time and Your First Million

STORYHOOD®

In March 2020, Chaya started Storyhood – a community built on storytelling – to help friends and colleagues process the chaos and grief of the COVID-19 pandemic, as it was happening.

The community created shared agreements so everyone would be equal and safe to be vulnerable.

There would be no advice, no fixing, nothing wrong; just storytellers building community through stories of their unique lived experience – story as a verb.

Since then, hundreds of participants have used Storyhood to develop authentic stories to:

  • Inspire and lead their teams
  • Complete and publish writing projects and books
  • Anchor brand messaging for new products and services

“I was a refugee to the U.S. I knew I had powerful stories, but I didn’t know how to tell them. Chaya coached me how to tell my stories to secure admissions to Emory University and Tufts Medical School, and at the UN on International Refugee Day.”

–Abdallah Al-Obaidi, MD-MBA candidate at Tufts University
